The Athena Series by Action is designed to fit the specific needs of a female player. Reduced length (1" shorter") and smaller diameter shafts (12.5 mm) accommodate the reach and control demands of the female form. Each Athena cue comes with a free extension that will quickly and easily screw into a removable butt cap. This gives the ladies the extra reach they need without all the hassles of table leaning or searching for the ever-vanishing bridge. TIP: 12.5 mm proprietary tip FERRULE: 1" Fiber ferrule SHAFT: 28.5" Hard Rock Maple shaft with a 10" pro taper. Shaft also has a black collar with a thin silver ring and piloted brass insert.. JOINT: Piloted 5/16x18 pin with a steel collar. FOREARM: The forearm is Natural stained maple with purple cool hearts overlays and encased by black rings with a thin silver ring inside. WRAP: Black with white spec Irish linen SLEEVE: The sleeve is burgundy stained maple with cool Heart design encased by black rings with thin silver rings inside. PLATE: Black with gold Athena emblem and brass ring at bottom BUMPER: Threaded black rubber that unscrews so you can add the extension. EXTENSION: Threaded brass collar on 10" Ebony stained maple extension.
